SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hoop Shoot Appreciation

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people for their effort to make the Hoop Shoot on January 4, 2010 a great success:
Rich Kelly, Rich Hasson, John Istvan, Doris Nowottnick, Wayne Becraft, Bruce Peck, Hal Davis, Dawn Owens, and the help from
the Knights of Columbus. We had 47 boys and girls from ages 8 thru 13. They all had a great time at the Shoot, and the Pizza party
held at the Knights of Columbus.

Thank you!

Gary W. Steen, Exalted Ruler

Thanks for Sunday Football Food

A special thanks goes out to all those who helped me with Sunday Football Food: Mary Lynn, Jordan, Bill Pitcher, Carol H., Dennis S.,
Pete F., Jim Vane, Verna. And thank you Jason, Linda, Tom and Maureen for filling in when I couldn't be there. Just maybe, with a
better team next year, there will be a bigger crowd in the lounge.

Thank you,

Gary W. Steen, Exalted Ruler

Superbowl XLIV Party Information

The Pro Football season is underway and again this year our lodge will attempt to have two Super Bowl Raffles. Each entry entitles you and one guest to attend the February 7th, 2010 Super Bowl Party.

Your $65.00 commitment will give you the opportunity to win (4) four Grand Prizes and (16) sixteen secondary prizes per ticket. The party includes the game on a ten foot jumbo screen, a delicious two hour buffet before the game, and hot dogs, chili, snacks, etc at half time plus six beverage tickets. For a $20.00 per person donation payable at the door you can attend the “Party” which includes everything EXCEPT the raffles plus (3) three beverage tickets.

In order to finalize all the information required to set up the raffles, etc. I am requesting that all previous participants make their commitments by 12/31/09. The deadline for ALL entries is 1/19/10—multiple entries are welcome.

Doors open at 4pm: buffet served from 4:30 to 6:30pm. Game starts at 6:30pm.

Book Worms Welcome
By now you all know we were blessed with a large donation of books.   I will be starting a "borrow" bookcase in the game room.   Please feel free to borrow and read as many books as you like and when you're done please bring them back so others can enjoy them.   If you have any books you want to donate, please let me know.   I would like to thank Al Stanziale for the donation of the bookshelf.
